In October 2006 my very first official novel was published. It carried the name
"AIMÉE TV - Uw dagelijkse manga moment"

INTRO
"Aimée TV" is a follow-up of the comic "Ai-chan TV" that was published by Senoeni Comics Productions in 2004. This publisher was only a publisher for 'young talents', that stimulated youngsters under 18 to draw more comics. Another publisher, Uitgeverij BeeDee in Haarlem, was very positive about the book. Together we decided to republish the 44 comics, and add another few to finally get to the holy number of 96 comics. I was 18 years old and a dream came true.

The difference between the two books isn't just that "Aimée TV" has more comics. The book has a better quality and has a couple of illustrations in it, next to the regular strips.

STORY
"Aimée TV" features the story about a girl named Aimée (me) who finds a new job: presenting a television show about manga. The comics feature short 'episodes' about the charactaristics of manga like Samurai motives, Otaku's and Shonen Ai. Aimée also has her own "drawing corner" where she learns her fans to draw in the manga-style. And finally, a short trip to Japan will change her life for good.
