 Aimée
de Jongh (1988) is 18 years old and lives in Waalwijk, the
Netherlands. She now works for about 4 years as a comic artist.While attending a study in Animation, Aimée spends most of her time drawing comics and cartoons. Ever since she competed in the competition "Stripstrijd" in the Dutch quality newspaper "Het Parool" (2006), she's becoming more and more well-known in the Dutch comic-scene. Her style in drawing is mostly influenced by the Japanese manga comics, yet she tries to give it a special recognizable touch. An example is her weekly comic Aimée TV. The professional work
Aimée does consists of things such as comics, illustrations, CD covers, book
covers and magazine covers. At the moment, Aimée makes comics for the
Flemish KITS newspaper and the monthly Dutch SLIGRO employee magazine.
